<p>The tank container (10) has an auxiliary chamber (16) which is divided by a partition wall into two partial chambers. The former partial chamber is connected with the connection openings of the auxiliary chamber. An intermediate wall between the fuel chamber (12) and the auxiliary chamber has an aperture in the area of the latter partial chamber of the auxiliary chamber. The fuel chamber and the latter partial chamber of the auxiliary chamber are fluidically connected and both are served to receive fuel for an internal combustion engine.</p>
