The guide rail (10) has a thin-walled metal shell (20) i.e. closed rectangular pipe, extending in a longitudinal direction (11). The metal shell includes a constant cross-section profile such that the metal shell is completely filled with a polymer concrete (13) e.g. sand, linked with epoxy resin. A rail roller surface (21) for a rolling body of a linear roller bearing is provided at an outer side of the metal shell. The roller surface extends in the longitudinal direction. A support insert (30) is provided within the metal shell, which extends between wall sections (22, 23) of the shell. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a linear roller bearing comprising a guiding wagon (2) a method for manufacturing a guide rail.
