PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition relieving swelling on the face is provided to form natural moisture membrane, ensure elasticity on the skin, and to enhance density of dermis. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition relieving swelling on the face contains 0.3-50 weight% of starch, 0.1-50 weight% of gum, and 0.3-5- weight% of silica. The composition further contains 0.05-50 weight% of walnut extract or Morus alba L. extract. The starch is corn starch, sweet potato starch, potato starch, wheat starch. The gum is xanthan gum, carrageenan gum, guar gum, gellan gum, or locust bean gum.
