<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical code division multiplex signal generator capable of generating an OCDM transmission signal having low energy of an optical carrier wave and high strength. <P>SOLUTION: The optical code division multiplex signal generator includes: an optical pulse light source 10, a first coder 14-1 to an N-th coder 14-N, a first optical modulator 18-1 to an N-th optical modulator 18-N, and a first optical circulator 12-1 to an N-th optical circulator 12-N. The signal generator has a structure in which an optical pulse sequence passing through a coder arranged in the former stage is inputted into a coder arranged in the latter stage such that a (k-1)th optical pulse sequence passing through a (k-1)th coder is inputted into a k-th coder (k is all integers 2 to N and N is a positive integer of ≥2). A first coded optical pulse signal to an N-th coded optical pulse signal outputted from the first optical modulator to the N-th optical modulator are inputted into an optical coupler 16 and multiplexed to generate the OCDM signal 17 and output the generated signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
