PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving controller for a vehicle, which can suppress a motor or the like from being overheated and enhance hill climbing traveling performance. SOLUTION: The driving controller 10 for the vehicle includes: a limiting means 21 limiting a load rate based on a first load rate limiting map 17; an acquiring means 22 acquiring a residual distance from a present point to a target point based on a navigation system 16 and a road slope; an estimating means 23 estimating whether or not the temperature of the motor 11 reaches a short-term guaranteed temperature before reaching the target point based on the residual distance, road slope and a threshold map 19 when the temperature of the motor 11 reaches a predetermined temperature; and a limitation releasing means 24 releasing a load rate limitation set by the limiting means 21 to limit the load rate on the basis of a second load rate limiting map 18 when the temperature does not reach the short-term guaranteed temperature.
