PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular side body structure which reinforces a door hinge while surely suppressing the deformation of a vehicle interior due to an impact load transmitted from a large diameter tire when the vehicle collides. SOLUTION: A hinge reinforcement 14 reinforcing installation parts 10e and 52a for a lower hinge 12 is provided near the joining part of the front part of a side sill 8 and the lower part of a hinge pillar 5; the hinge reinforcement 14 has a downward extending part 14a; the downward extending part 14a is joined to a side sill reinforcement 8b arranged to extend in a vehicular fore-and-aft direction in the side sill 8; and an impact load from a tire 7 is transmitted to the side sill 8 through the hinge reinforcement 14.
