PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device for a hollow article capable of uniformizing a wall surface of a hollow part by utilizing characteristics of gas and water. SOLUTION: The molding device 1 includes a molding machine body 2 having a first molding mold 3 and a second molding mold 4 having a cavity 5 and a redundant material chamber 6, a stopper 8 for making the cavity 5 communicate with the redundant material chamber 6 or disconnecting the cavity and the chamber, a material fill port 9 for filling a material into the cavity 5, a compressed air injection valve 10 for discharging residual water in the inner part of the molded article after hollow molding, a gas/water injection unit 11 for injecting gas or water, a gas/water flow passage 12 formed in the second molding mold 4, a gas/water injection valve 13 provided in the second molding mold 4, a gas/water discharging valve 14 mounted to the discharging end of the gas/water flow passage 12, the molding machine body 2, a molding controller 21 for performing program control including the temperature control of the water related to the molding process of the gas/water injection unit 11, and an operation/control board 22.
