PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lens which is excellent in directional characteristics and mounting properties and uses a liquid resin which can stably form the shape of the back of the lens. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the silicone lens, a silicone resin 3 is packed into a cavity 1 from the first through-hole 5a of a mold 2 including a lower mold 2a having the cavity 1 which is hollow having a shape corresponding to the curved surface of the lens and an upper mold 2b covering the cavity 1 flatly through a first resin passage 6a and heat-cured to form the lens.
