PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for anti-corrosion treatment, by which anti-corrosion property is imparted to aluminum or an aluminum alloy by forming an oxide film containing few impurities in comparison with a conventional oxide film on the surface of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: The method for anti-corrosion treatment of the surface of aluminum or an aluminum alloy includes a chemical polishing process for performing a chemical polishing treatment of the surface of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy and an anodization process for applying a barrier type anodization treatment to the surface of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy after the chemical polishing process.
