The device (10) has a shaft pipe (11) for receiving in a control pipe of a frame that defines a steering axle, and a spring strut (20). An axle receptacle (15) is arranged at a lower end (22) of the spring strut. An upper end (21) of the spring strut is connected with the shaft pipe by a fork bridge. A spring axle defines a connecting line between the lower end and the upper end of the spring strut. The device is formed such that the steering axle is bent opposite to the spring axle at an angle of 6 degree.
