The device has a printed circuit board (1) with an interface (2) for coupling to a bus system of a building and another interface (3) for an application module (A). A transceiver (4) has a receiving stage, transmitting stage and a power supply unit, and is attached to a waking recognition device (5). The recognition device generates a waking signal based on an application specific-waking telegram coming from the bus system. The recognition device is provided with a reference telegram memory (6). The telegram uses 1-bit-information as the waking signal within an address of the telegram.
