PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to reduce total drying time by enabling laundry to move in an auxiliary drying apparatus during a drying process. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine is composed of a cabinet(10), a tub, a drum, and an auxiliary drying apparatus. The cabinet comprises first and second spaces(12,14). The tub and the drum are arranged at the first space. The auxiliary drying apparatus is formed independently of the tub and the drum in order to dry the laundry. The auxiliary drying apparatus transfers the laundry during drying. The auxiliary drying apparatus rotates the laundry centered on the rotary shaft in a horizontal plane. The auxiliary drying apparatus is arranged within the second space. |
