A method of forming an electrode of a plasma display panel capable is developed in order to prevent short circuit between electrodes, and a plasma display panel manufactured according to the method. The plasma display panel includes an upper substrate and a lower substrate disposed to face each other; address electrodes (2) formed on the lower substrate; a barrier rib disposed in a space between the upper substrate and the lower substrate to form a plurality of discharge cells; a phosphor layer formed inside each of the discharge cells; and sustain electrodes and scan electrodes formed on the upper substrate so that they are crossed with the address electrodes, wherein ends of neighboring address electrodes have a longitudinal positional difference (B1).
