On a counter (10) having supports (20) at the front, bearing blocks (40) are located at the support ends, on which a seized front pane (15) can be pivoted by means of a holder profile between a closed position (15.1) when the counter body is covered and an open position when the counter body is freely accessible. The support (20) is located in the front region of the counter body. The pivot axis (18) for the front pane (15) runs horizontally. In order to support the pivoting movement of the front pane (15), a lifting aid (50) is provided. In order to improve the counter (10), it is proposed to use two open partial profiles (21, 31), which in the closed position (15.1) are directed toward each other with the openings thereof and enclose a hollow space (28) between them. Said hollow space (28) is used to receive the lifting aid (50) in the closed position (15.1). The one open partial profile (21) is idle and part of the support (20), while the other (31) also moves during pivoting and is part of the holder profile (30). The holder profile (30) holds the lateral edge of the front pane (15) and together with the support (20) is disposed in a vertical plane. The horizontal pivot axis (18) runs perpendicularly to said plane. |
