<p>The part (1) has a rivet head (10) formed as a head-like extension, and a slotted shaft section (12) provided with external and internal shaft sections (13, 14). A shaft (11) is provided adjacent to the head, and the external shaft section is limited by a closing edge (17) at its end facing away the head. The internal shaft section comprises an outer wall (18) and the external shaft section comprises outer and inner walls (15, 16). The external shaft section is partially subjected to material-transformative pressing e.g. riveting, to fasten the rivet part into a recess (3) of a component (2).
