<p>The method involves running two types of working phases e.g. operation and ideal phases, of a technical process for multiple times, and measuring an actual duration of each phase. Time periods for all same-type phases in the past are collected, such that frequency distribution of the duration of corresponding type of the phase is obtained. An actual type of the phase is determined from the distribution, and an elapsed phase period is calculated in a prediction mode. A prediction value of a time-variable parameter in a future-time period is determined based on the distribution. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program having instructions to perform a method for predicting a time-variable parameter in a technical process (2) a computer program product having instructions to perform a method for predicting a time-variable parameter in a technical process (3) a computer readable data carrier medium having instructions to perform a method for predicting a time-variable parameter in a technical process.</p> |
