<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-radical generator capable of generating a radical, without forming a low-molecular decomposition product in a photo-radical forming process, nor forming the radical in a heating step, capable of existing in a chemically stable state in a resultant product of radical reaction, such as a film after cured, having high heat resistance, stability, and preservability, and excellent in compatibility or solubility. <P>SOLUTION: This photo-radical generator comprises a compound (a) having a seven-membered cyclic imide structure-containing group expressed by formula (1) (R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>8</SP>are each H or a substituent and may combine with one another to form a ring structure). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
