The cradle (1) has a blocking unit subjected to action of a helicoidal spring. The blocking unit is moved between a primary position in which a hinge allows relative movement of rods between them and a secondary position in which the rods are maintained in a state along predetermined relative orientation. The blocking unit cooperates, under action of the spring, with one of the rods on a part of their displacement between the positions for restoring the rods along the orientation. The hinge is provided with a deformable elastomeric element. An independent claim is also included for a framework for a shelter, including a wall that is made of cloth and provided with a basic frame.
