PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealing performance in a sealing-up device provided with a seal lip by providing a ring drawn toward the sealing object fluid side by negative pressure at the time of generating negative pressure on the sealing object fluid side in a recessed part opening on the sealing object fluid side on the back of the seal lip. SOLUTION: This sealing-up device 1 sealing up an annular gap between a housing 2 and a reciprocating shaft 3 is provided with a seal body 4 and a seal lip 5, and a spring 8 giving tension to the seal lip 5 on the back on the outer circumference side of the seal lip 5. In this case, on the sealing object fluid side of the seal lip 5, a ring 10 is fitted into the recessed part which is opened by the sealing object fluid side 5 provided with the seal body 4, the seal lip 5, and the spring 8. On the ring 10, an inner diameter taper part 10a is formed as a pressing part preventing the seal lip 5 from floating up at generating negative pressure when it is moved on the sealing object fluid side S, and excellent sealing performance can be insured. |
