SYSTEM FOR MATERIAL MANAGEMENT USING ZIGBEE

PURPOSE: A system for material management using Zigbee is provided to use a Zigbee tag to obtain comparatively accurate information about physical distribution and prevent waste of unnecessary power in a place which does not need a management. CONSTITUTION: A Zigbee tag(110) comprises a MCU(Micro Control Unit), a wireless transceiver which performs Zigbee transceiving by the MCU, and wakeup circuit for changing the MCU to a active state. A wakeup signal generator(120) sanctions the wakeup signal to the wakeup circuit. A Zigbee reader(131,132) forms the Zigbee tag and a wireless network. A main host(140) collects information about the Zigbee tag through the Zigbee reader. The Zigbee tag changes into an active state when the wakeup signal generator passes through the installed area.
