A retractable elasticated handle for use with a sports board 104. The sports board comprises a platform upon which a person stands to perform manoeuvres, while the handle comprises an elasticated cord 101 which is mounted within a housing 108 attached to, or formed in the sports board and which terminates in a tag 109 which serves as a handle. The handle may be stretched out from the housing to support the user while performing a manoeuvre and is then retracted back within the housing once the handle is released. The cord may be attached to the housing by means of mounting grommets 102, provided at each end of the housing, while movement of the cord may be controlled by means of revolving spindles 107. |
