<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller that has a very simple structure, can be inexpensively manufactured and helps many players simultaneously enjoy a game. SOLUTION: A controller set is comprised of one parent machine 12 connected to a controller connecting terminal 6 of a home video game machine 2, and three subsidiary machines 14 connected thereto. The parent machine 12 and the subsidiary machines 14 are equipped with three push-button switches 16 and 18. The subsidiary machines 14 have means to transmit an on/off state signal of the push-button switch 18 to the parent machine 12, the parent machine 12 has a means to recognize the on/off state signal from the subsidiary machines 14. The parent machine 12 generates an input data frame of a prescribed form containing a bit array showing the on/off states, sends the data frame to the processor of a home video game machine 2 in accordance with a prescribed communications protocol on the basis of the on/off state signal transmitted from the subsidiary machines 14 and the on/off state signal of the push-button switch 16 of the parent machine 12 itself.</p> |
