PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a preference information obtaining method thereof are provided to receive only a reserved service through a preserved preference service information and a comparison among each 3G network service, thereby reducing the wasted power consumption due to a reception of unnecessary MBMS control information. CONSTITUTION: A terminal writes a wishing service list according to a user preference information in SA(Service announcement)(S11). The terminal periodically receives NI(Notification Indicator) through a MICH(MBMS paging Indication Channel)(S13). If MBMS service ID is listed in the preference list, the control unit receives contents from a mobile communication network through set MTCH(Multicast Traffic Channel)(S14,S15). The control performs a set preferences service(S16). |
