AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An air conditioning system is provided to shorten defrost time by differently distributing high refrigerant to the upper and lower ends of an outdoor heat exchanger in a defrost process. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system(1) comprises an outdoor heat exchanger(15) and a heater(20). Refrigerant flows into the inside of the outdoor heat exchanger. The outdoor heat exchanger comprises a refrigerant pipe and a heat exchange fin. The refrigerant pipe comprises a straight part and a hair band. The heat exchange fin touches with the outer circumference of the refrigerant pipe. The heater is attached to the side of the outdoor heat exchanger and comprises a plurality of grooves for containing the hair band. When defrost is necessary, the power is applied to the heater to heat the refrigerant pipe.
