PURPOSE: A use of 4-cyclohexyl- iminomethyl-benzene-1,3-diol as an inhibitor of beta-ketoacyl acyl carrier protein synthase is provided to control the synthesis of fatty acid for using as an antibiotic. CONSTITUTION: A use of 4-cyclohexyl- iminomethyl-benzene-1,3-diol includes a structure marked as chemical formula 1 and obstructs beta-ketoacyl acyl carrier protein synthase. A treatment composition includes the 4-cyclohexyl- iminomethyl-benzene-1,3-diol or its salt for preventing infectious diseases due to microorganisms. The infectious diseases are staphylococcus food poisoning, cellulitis, lymphangitis, urinary tract infection, meningitis, peritonitis, cystitis, respiratory diseases, and others.
