PURPOSE: A composite negative electrode active material, a producing method thereof, and the lithium secondary battery including thereof are provided to provide the lithium secondary battery with an improved capacity retention rate and cycle efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A composite negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery contains a first inter metallic compound, a second inter metallic compound, a metal which does not alloy with lithium, and carbon. The first and the second metallic compounds exist as a distinct phase, and include a crystalline structure. The metallic compounds contain more than two elements selected from the group consisting of Sn, Fe and C. The producing method of the composite negative electrode active material comprises a step of mixing the Sn, Fe, Mo and C powder, and a step of milling the powder. |
