<p>The device has an electric circuit powered by a low voltage current source, where one of terminals of the current source is connected to an electrically conducting material grid (6) of a cooktop (T). The other terminal of the current source is connected to an electrode (7) placed at a level burner (1), such that an electrically conducting material container (11) on the burner is in contact with the grid and the electrode. Presence of the container is detected by closing operation of the electric circuit, where absence of the container is detected by opening operation of the electric circuit. An independent claim is also included for a cooktop with a gas-burner.</p> |
