<p>Disclosed is a method for producing a compound C which is represented by the following formula C. C[In the formula, R' represents a linear, branched or cyclic Calkylcarbonyl group.]In this method, as a protecting group of the hydroxy group at the 7-position, Ris used[Rrepresents a formyl group, an optionally substituted linear Calkylcarbonyl group, an optionally substituted benzyl group, an-SiRRRgroup (wherein R, Rand Rindependently represent a linear or branched Calkyl group or a phenyl group) which may be substituted by a halogen atom, a Calkyloxy-Calkyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, a Calkylthio-Calkyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, a linear, branched or cyclic Calkyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom (when branched or cyclic, it is a Calkyl group), a Calkenyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, a Calkynyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, or an optionally substituted, saturated or unsaturated, five-membered or six-membered heterocyclic group]. This method enables to produced a pyripyropene derivative, which has an acyloxy group at the 1-position and the 11-position and a hydroxy group at the 7-position, with high yield. This pyripyropene derivative is useful as a pest control agent.</p> |
