MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CALCIUM CARBONATE USING OF LIME-BASED BYPRODUCTS

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of calcium carbonate using a lime-based by-product is provided to producing a high quality precipitating calcium carbonate by reacting exhaust gas from a iron manufacturing process to a calcium ion effluent. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of calcium carbonate using a lime-based by-product comprises the following steps: mixing and stirring 20~50 liters of water per 60~100g of lime-based by-product, 0.01~10.0 parts of additive by weight and 0.01~30 parts of cohesive agent for 100 parts of lime-based by-product by weight and eluting calcium ion; precipitating the lime-based by-product; separating a clear effluent from the upper side and carbonating the effluent to make the pH into 9; and collecting the precipitated calcium carbonate from the bottom.
