An exhaust gas purging catalyst, includes: an integrated carrier; and a catalyst coat layer formed on the integrated carrier. The catalyst coat layer includes a catalyst component and meets the following expression (A): P≧0.17W−0.04 - - - (A). P denotes a summation (ml) of a capacity of a void per mass (g) of the catalyst coat layer. The void has a pore diameter of 0.1μm to 1μm. W denotes a volume (ml) of the catalyst coat layer per the mass (g) of the catalyst coat layer.
