PURPOSE: A locking apparatus of a glove box is provided to improve outer appearance by simplifying the structure of the apparatus and reducing the thickness of a glove box. CONSTITUTION: A locking apparatus of a glove box comprises a glove box housing(200), an outer panel, a push-button, a locking unit(520), and a wire(300). The glove box housing has a receiving space. The globe box housing is combined with the upper cover to be rotated. The outer panel is combined with the front side of the glove box housing. The push-button is exposed to the outside from the left upper end. The locking unit is installed on the front side of the glove box housing and is combined with the upper cover. One end of the wire is connected to the push-button, and the other end of the wire is branched off into multiple parts and is connected to the locking unit. The wire separates the locking unit from the upper cover by the operation of the push-button.
