PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device with the same are provided to form a diffusing pattern on a surface of a lamp by a chemical etching process or a sandblasting process, thereby preventing a lamp mura phenomenon due to a gap decrease between the lamp and the optical sheet. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel displays an image. A lamp(110) comprises a diffusion pattern(113) on the surface. The diffusion pattern forms an etching process. An optical sheet diffuses and concentrates light generated from the lamp. Chemical solution is hydrofluoric acid solution. |
