The invention relates to a system for converting solar energy into mechanical or electrical energy, comprising: means for concentrating the solar radiation from the sun at a given focal point, collector means for receiving and accumulating the solar radiation originating from the concentration means in order to accumulate thermal energy, and means for converting the thermal energy accumulated in the collector means into mechanical energy. Subsequently, the mechanical energy can be converted into electrical energy using a conventional generator. |
