The device has a blood pressure measuring device and a memory-supported control device controlling blood pressure of a dialysis patient. The control device is formed for performing functions according to blood pressure measurements. Time profiles of the blood pressure are detected and stored during current therapy processes. The control device ensures foresighted blood pressure control and uses the time profiles of a selected therapy process as a reference variable of the foresighted blood pressure control.
