The instrument (10) has a reversible integration unit fixed on a textile article. A communication unit i.e. UHF radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip, communicates with a communication terminal that is equipped with a transmitter-receiver for transmitting/receiving information and/or a signal. A diode (32) and a sound indication unit (34) are activated during the reception of a signal transmitted by the terminal. A programmable memory (38) stores information obtained from a temperature and/or humidity sensor (36) and/or communication terminal. The indication units are selected from a group of diode, flash diode, lamp and luminous unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for marking textile article using an instrument.
