The device has a tool (40) with a cylindrical shaped body (41). Unlocking or locking units are provided at interior of a contact area (29a) of a fixation screw (28) and formed by blocking elements (45). The blocking elements are radially displaced between a retracted position and projection position by a bell (50). The bell is slid axially along the body between a locked position, for maintaining the blocking elements in the projection position, and an unlocked position, for releasing the blocking elements in the retracted position. An independent claim is also included for a method for under water and remote manipulation of fixation screw to fix elements of tubular guide of upper internal equipments of a pressurized water nuclear reactor.
