A hair clipper/trimmer includes a blade set having a stationary clipper comb and a movable cutter blade. To decrease the heat transfer from the clipper comb, the clipper comb can be cooled by a convection cooling. The clipper comb can be provided with a plurality of vented sections extending through the inner and outer surfaces of the clipper comb. In this manner, when in use, air flows through the clipper comb, cooling the clipper comb. To aid in the air flow, the inner surface of the moveable cutter blade can include fins extending therefrom. In use, the fins direct the airflow through the vented section in the clipper comb. |
