The dental implant system (10) includes implants (12) having integral abutments (16) therewith for the removable or fixed attachment of plural or single prosthetic teeth (P), as appropriate. The system (10) for removable dental prostheses (P) includes a metal housing (34) permanently installed in the removable prosthesis (P), and a rubber retentive insert (50) installed in the housing (34). The insert (50) is removably installed over the abutment (16) of the implant (12) to secure the dental prosthesis (P) thereto. The system (10) includes transfer copings for transferring an impression to the lab for manufacture of the prosthesis (P), and lab processing copings and analogs for handling and forming the prosthesis (P) during manufacture. The system (10) may be assembled as a kit having some or all of the above components. |
