The microscope has an optical path passing through an object and an eyepiece lens, and a transparent disk (5) and a semitransparent mirror for superimposing or representing a graduated scale (4) in the optical path of the microscope. Circular light spots are arranged at or in the transparent disk, and a projector projects the scale at the optical path. The semi-transparent mirror is arranged diagonal to an optical axis of the optical path, and the scale is arranged in an intermediate plane of the microscope. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring astigmatism of an eye and/or positioning of an artificial replacement lens in an eye.
