摘要 <p>The principal features of the proposed diode multi-beam source of coherent laser radiation (DMSCLR) consist in the integral combination of a reference diode laser and a plurality of diode optical amplifiers (hereinafter "diode amplifiers"). The optical axis for the propagation of the radiation from the diode laser is arranged at a right angle with respect to the optical axes of the diode amplifiers. The integral connection between the diode laser and the diode amplifiers takes place in the absence of any focusing optical element, the overflow of laser radiation from the diode laser into the diode amplifiers taking place with the aid of original revolving elements disposed at the points at which the active amplification regions of the diode amplifiers adjoin the active generation region of the diode laser. A multiple increase (by the order of one to two or more) in the output power of the amplified laser radiation for single-frequency, single-mode and multi-mode oscillation types, an increase in efficiency and reliability, an increase in the service life and the modulation rate, and a substantial simplification of the manufacturing technique and a reduction in costs are achieved. The proposed DMSCLRs can be used in fibreoptic communications and data transmission systems, in optical high-speed computation and switching systems, in the production of laser technology equipment and medical equipment, for producing frequency-doubled lasers, and also for the excitation of solid-state and fibre lasers and amplifiers.</p>
