PURPOSE: A communication system for deaf person is provided to a hearing-impaired person to use a portable telecommunication device which enables remote access with an interpretation center. CONSTITUTION: A communication system for deaf person includes an interpretation center of a remote place and a portable communication device. An interpreter(51) who enables the connection by a sign language image telephone is stayed in the interpretation center of the remote place. The portable communication device performs the sign video call communication with the interpreter through the connection to the call interpretation center.
