A communication apparatus is provided which allows a network to have an enhanced tolerance for troubles.  A communication apparatus in a network where messages are exchanged among a plurality of communication apparatuses including the local communication apparatus and a path control is performed comprises a path summary processing means that creates path summary information obtained by summarizing path information of the local communication apparatus from a path table, which holds path information used in the path control, and from traffic information representing traffics among the communication apparatuses and that exchanges the created path summary information with the other communication apparatuses; a trouble influence factor information processing means that calculates trouble influence factor information representing a factor of influences on the traffics and on the other communication apparatuses when the local communication apparatus causes a trouble and that exchanges the calculated trouble influence factor information with the other communication apparatuses; and a path adjusting means that uses the path summary information and trouble influence factor information acquired by the local communication apparatus to adjust the path table of the local communication apparatus.
