COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, BASE STATION DEVICE, MOBILE STATION DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

Provided is a communication system including a unicast base station device, a multicast base station device, and a mobile station device.  Before receiving information relating to a multicast service, the mobile station device transmits to a position registration server, an identifier for identifying the reception area which provides the multicast service.  Upon reception of arrival information indicating that the information relating to the unicast service has arrived, the multicast base station device transmits the arrival information to the mobile station device.  The mobile station device receives the arrival information even when the information relating to the multicast service is being received.
