PURPOSE: An image pickup unit and a photographing apparatus are provided to realize miniaturization of the image pickup unit by fixing a metal plate about a supporting frame. CONSTITUTION: An image pickup device(102) changes an optical image into an electric signal. An optical device(106) is more near arranged in a subject than the image pickup device. A plate(108) is installed to an edge part of the optical device. A piezoelectric device(110) is installed to the plate. The piezoelectric device vibrates the plate and the optical device. A support frame supports a protruded portion among a part of the plate.
