PURPOSE: The method for locating and system of the terminal using the SUPL(Secure User Plane Location) directly does not take part in the position determination process while offering to the service request terminal only the SET list. The load of the location server can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(global positioning system) satellite transmits a message the GPS signal in the goal SET(SUPL Enabled Terminal)(130). The goal SET transmits a message the SET list require-message in the location server(120). The SET list is received from the location server. The auxiliary data is received among the received SET list as described above from one SET. The location of the goal SET pitches based on the received auxiliary data as described above.
