<p>The present invention relates to an analog-digital hybrid touch panel apparatus and a recognition method thereof. In one embodiment, an analog-digital hybrid touch panel apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a first transparent conductive layer having a plurality of patterns of bar shapes; a first group electrode serving as a lead electrode for each group connected to one end of the first transparent conductive layer; a first cell electrode on the other end of the first transparent conductive layer, serving as a lead electrode provided for each cell within the respective groups of the first group electrode; a second transparent conductive layer, which is disposed facing the first transparent conductive layer and has a plurality of patterns of bar shapes orthogonal to the patterns of the first transparent conductive layer; a second group electrode serving as a lead electrode for each group connected to one end of the second transparent conductive layer; a second cell electrode on the other end of the second transparent conductive layer, serving as a lead electrode provided for each cell within the respective groups of the second group electrode; and a plurality of dot spacers for preventing an electrical contact between the first transparent conductive layer and the second transparent conductive layer. Accordingly, multi-touch is possible without increasing the number of lead electrodes, manufacturing costs can be reduced without the need for a thin-film process, and coordinate recognition with high precision is also achieved.</p> |
