PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a substrate for obtaining ring disk is provided to prevent separation and crack of a disk in rapid cooling and to obtain disk roll having spalling resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a substrate for obtaining ring disk to use a disk roll comprises a step of molding a slurry ingredient in a plate form and a step of drying plate. The disk roll(10) comprises a rotation shaft(11) and a ring disk(12) which is inserted to the rotation shaft. The peripheral surface of the disk functions as a conveying surface.
