<p>A fluorescence based ornamental device comprises a piece of jewelry with a plurality of fluorescent diamonds arranged in predetermined groups such that each group defines a corresponding Indicium that fluoresces when subjected to suitable excitation energy. A system for displaying an encoded message comprises a display unit housing, the jewelry, a support, and one or more excitation energy sources. A method for displaying an encoded message comprises the steps of categorizing fluorescence levels of diamonds, setting a plurality of fluorescent diamonds in a piece of jewelry so as to be arranged in predetermined groups such that each group defines a corresponding indicium, and irradiating one or more excitation energy sources onto the jewelry such that each group fluoresces to display corresponding indicium being normally unnoticeable and a message defined by a combination of the indicia.</p> |
