PURPOSE: A method for allocating a function of a remote display station transmitting a rank application signal and an apparatus performing the same are provided to determine a priority about a function of a plurality of a remote display device. CONSTITUTION: A detection unit(114) detects the remote display station having a plurality of remote display devices in the predetermined recognition range. A controller(116) obtains a priority to the detected remote display station. The predetermined function of assigning to the remote display station is controlled by the controller.
