<p>A bearing provided with a seal, comprising an outer ring (3), an inner ring (2), rolling bodies (4), and a seal member (6). The seal member (6) is fixed at the base end thereof to the outer ring (3), and the remaining end of the seal member (6), the remaining end being in sliding contact with the inner ring (2), is a seal lip section (8aa). That seal surface (10a) of the inner ring (2) with which the seal lip section (8aa) is in sliding contact is provided with a wear promoting section such as minute projections (11). When the bearing is rotated, the wear promoting section wears the tip of the seal lip section (8aa) so that the seal member (6) becomes a contactless seal or that the seal member (6) makes light contact of a level in which contact pressure can be regarded as zero.</p> |
